Excellent ideas and strategies can transcend a specific industry and be effective for companies to implement regardless of the product or service that they provide. Our panel of speakers represents professionals from a cross-section of professional service industries including:

 

Margie Flynn, CEO (BrownFlynn)

Flynn shares her deeply ingrained passion for the community and belief in “doing well by doing good” as principal and co-owner of BrownFlynn, an award-winning corporate responsibility and sustainability-consulting firm based in Cleveland.  She is actively involved in numerous local and national civic and business organizations, including the Open Carbon World advisory board, Corporate Sustainability Network steering committee, GreenCityBlueLake Institute advisory board, Cleveland Carbon Fund advisory committee, American Red Cross Blood Services board, and is president of her 2004 Leadership Cleveland class.

 

Flynn is a guest lecturer for numerous local and national conferences, venues and colleges/universities, and is author of several published articles regarding sustainability and entrepreneurship in local and national publications.

 

Mike Totsch, Director of Client Development (Tec Inc. Engineering & Design)

Totsch is director of client development for Tec Inc. Engineering & Design, a full-service mechanical, electrical, technology, and lighting design firm headquartered in Cleveland, with a recently-opened office in Columbus.  In this newly created position, Totsch seeks to strengthen existing client relationships and build new ones - locally, regionally, and nationally.

 

Totsch is currently serving as the president of the Society for Marketing Professional Services (SMPS) Columbus chapter, and is a member of the SMPS Business Development Institute and Speakers Bureau.  Prior to joining Tec, Inc., Totsch was the director of business development for Shelley Metz Baumann Hawk.  He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Education from The Ohio State University and a Master's degree in Communication from Muskingum College.

 

Eric Dewey, CMO (Frost Brown Todd)

Dewey has over 25 years of sales and marketing experience in four industries including commercial real estate, financial services, retail and legal services.  As CMO of Frost Brown Todd, a law firm based in Cincinnati with nearly 500 attorneys, Dewey's responsibilities include strategic planning, client development, marketing and research.

 

Prior to joining FBT, Dewey was business development director at Vorys, Sater, Seymour and Pease, a nearly 400-attorney law firm based in Columbus.  He holds an MBA from Ohio University, and marketing certifications from the University of Michigan and the University of Colorado.
