Annual LEED/Green Building Program - The Cleveland Foodbank

Join SMPSNEO for a profile and tour of the Cleveland Foodbank, Northeast Ohio's first LEED accredited commercial building!

A presentation by key players Mark Horton, director of construction services for CT Consultants, Inc. (owner's representative for the Cleveland Foodbank project), and Monica Green, LEED facilitator/monitor for Westlake Reed Leskosky (associate project architect for the Cleveland Foodbank project), will be followed by a tour of the facility.

The presentation will include a case study of the planning, design and construction of the Cleveland Foodbank, the design and construction of the Hiram College Field Station, and the process of securing LEED accreditation.  Horton and Green will also address recent innovations in Green design and construction.
