“Action Plans and Budgets”

Thursday, November 16, 2006

Program Synopsis: Marketers in the A/E business are challenged with developing strategies and tactics that generate opportunities, support customer relationships and help win work.  Facing an increasingly demanding marketplace, internal pressures and typically limited resources, individuals and teams can succeed by focusing their efforts through clear, coordinated action plans that delineate objectives, motivate responsible participants and establish specific tasks and completion milestones.

This session Nicholas R. Cerro, marketing director for C&S Engineers, will examine one firm’s action plan process (encouraging others to share theirs for comparison), the types of plans that may be considered, the critical need for collaboration and buy-in, measurement and accountability, and the importance of budgets that instill confidence and advance plan accomplishment.  Althougth the action plan product may vary based on firm type, size and mission, in this session Mr. Cerro will provide a variety of examples and, hopefully, spark ideas for all to consider in setting (or re-setting) their marketing programs on a winning track!

When: Thursday, November 16, 2006 - from 11:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.
