Business Development Representative

Job Description

Domokur Architects is in search for a Cleveland based Business Development Representative who can generate and pursue new business opportunities in our corporate, civic and health care markets. The ideal individual will be a highly motivated, self directed, team player with a passion for creative writing, a heightened attention to detail, and a self confident communicator.

The position requires a personable individual with the ability to present Domokur Architects services and experience in a compelling and innovative way.

The candidate must be able to work closely with our senior management team to research, identify, and evaluate new business opportunities, present recommendations, and “open doors” within the Cleveland metropolitan area. The candidate must also be able to work with our graphic designers to prepare narrative content for brochures, blogs, magazine articles, and web based newsletters.


Job Requirements

• Proven creative writing skills
• Excellent oral communication skills
• 5 to 7 years experience in the A/E/C industry
• Strong “what ever it takes” work ethic and obsessive focus on customer service
• Provide lead research services including mining news aggregation services, web sites, industry news sources
• Identification and cultivation of peer contacts in client and professional organizations.
• Contribute to weekly business development team meeting at our headquarters in Akron, Ohio.
• Position may be part time or full time depending upon candidates desire and qualifications

Director of Business Development

Technical Assurance, a specialty consulting, engineering and project management firm located in NE Ohio, is seeking to fill a Director of Business Development position. The position being filled is targeted for a leadership role within the organization. Only candidates who have an entrepreneurial spirit, and are vision and growth oriented need apply. Technical Assurance is looking for a high level business development leader who can make a major contribution to the success and growth of our Company.

Responsibilities:

Responsible for developing a new client base, as well as maintaining and growing our existing client base.
Responsible for initiating relationships with multi-level decision-makers through phone, marketing mailer campaigns, in-person contacts, and presentations.
Responsible for maintaining a centralized CRM database.
Develops strategic marketing programs to achieve corporate objectives for services.
Develops and executes marketing programs to achieve stated objectives regarding revenue, profitability, and market share.
Develops and reports on marketing budget to executive team.
Establishes and reports on measurable marketing performance criteria to the executive team.

Job Requirements
Strong existing industry network and contacts.
Minimum 7 years experience in business development, marketing and sales within the A/E/C professional service field is required.
Education requirements: bachelor’s degree or higher.
CPSM credentialing a plus.
Must be self motivate, self accountable and a self starter.
Candidates should demonstrate excellent organizational, interpersonal and communication skills.
Excellent writing and verbal skill.
