Terri began her career in professional services marketing in 2007, following years of experience in marketing and advertising for the manufacturing and mass retail fields. She currently serves as Vice President of Marketing for Wheaton Sprague Building Envelope, a nationally recognized façade design, consulting and engineering firm based in Stow, Ohio. She was relocated to Southeastern Illinois a year and a half ago when her husband of almost 20 years accepted a position at an area college. She is grateful to Wheaton Sprague for the opportunity to work from Illinois for this exciting and growing company in the building envelope industry.
Terri served as Sponsorship Chair and Communications Chair with SMPS NEO prior to becoming President of the Chapter in 2009-10. Terri now serves on the Communications Committee for the SMPS St. Louis Chapter, where she is also involved with their Mentorship Program.
Outside of SMPS, Terri mentors a group of freshman high school young women, and is active in her local church music ministry.
Terri and her husband Paul have two teenage boys who are active in sports and music. When not working, she can be found at soccer games or track meets, or constantly feeding the teenagers and college students who visit their home. Living in a predominantly male household, Terri never touches the TV clicker, but also never has to lift anything really heavy. Her only female compatriot at home is a 2-year old English Bulldog named Gracie who has become a bit of a celebrity on Instagram.
